Bourse de mobilité Génération IA 2030
Dans le cadre de la présidence française du Conseil de l’Union européenne, l’Ambassade de France en Belgique et ses partenaires ont mis en place un colloque pour renforcer les liens franco-belges dans le secteur de l’Intelligence Artificielle. Cet événement a pour objectifs de rapprocher les acteurs de la recherche, de l’innovation, de l’industrie et les décideurs politiques pour créer de nouvelles synergies.

- Le séjour de recherche doit être réalisé par un doctorant, postdoc ou jeune chercheur (moins de 5 ans après la thèse) d’un laboratoire belge ;
- Il doit s’inscrire dans le cadre du développement d’une nouvelle coopération de recherche entre la France et la Belgique dans le domaine de l’intelligence artificielle
- Une attention particulière sera portée aux projets avec une ouverture européenne et qui préparent une demande de fonds européens (Horizon Europe…)
- La mission devra impérativement se terminer au plus tard le 31 décembre 2022.

In the framework of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the French Embassy in Belgium and its partners have set up a conference to strengthen Franco-Belgian ties in the priority sectors of Artificial Intelligence. These event aims to bring together players in research, innovation, industry and policy makers to create new synergies.
In the continuity of these initiatives, the Embassy of France in Belgium is pleased to announce its grants program to finance research stays in France in order to accelerate the best projects in hydrogen and artificial intelligence carried out between France and Belgium.
The research stay must be part of the development of a new cooperation between a French laboratory and a Belgian laboratory in the fields of artificial intelligence. It will offer a doctoral student, post-doctoral student or young researcher from the Belgian partner the opportunity of staying one month in the laboratory of the French partner. The mission must imperatively end no later than December 31, 2022.
Within the framework of the stay in France, the grant holder from the Belgian laboratory will benefit from the following advantages
- Grant for a one-month stay (1 704 €)
- Access to accommodation at reduced price
- Health insurance
Travel costs between Belgium and France are not covered by the French Embassy. However, the transfer between Paris and the provincial city of the research stay is covered by the French government grant.
Eligibility criteria :
- The research visit must be carried out by a PhD student, postdoc or young researcher (less than 5 years after the thesis) from a Belgian laboratory
- The research stay must be part of the development of a new cooperation between a French laboratory and a Belgian laboratory in the fields of artificial intelligence
- Particular attention will be paid to projects with a European focus and which are preparing an application for European funds (Horizon Europe, etc.);
- The mission must be completed by 31 December 2022 at the latest.
Applications will be examined on the basis of the following documents
- Prospects of the achievements / programme of the research stay, in the framework of your TOURNESOL project (not more than 1 page)
- CV of the applicant (1 page)
- CV of the professor of the French laboratory supervising the candidate
- Invitation letter from the director of the French laboratory
- Recommendation letter from the director of the Belgian laboratory

There is no deadline for this call: applications will be processed on a rolling basis until the available funds are exhausted.
This grant cannot be combined with the PHC Tournesol and post-PHC grants from the Embassy.
